Make an edit

An edit adds new scenes to an episode people already stream. Viewers open it in the catalog and press Watch this edit: their own Prime Video plays the episode, and your new clips play in place at the right moments. We never host the show, only your clips and their timing.

Version 1 (2026-10-15): the same steps as this page, with every download’s link and checksum. sha256 7356b929d039ea1eadf17c688f180917426987b41829a06144b38836fa836456, also in the manifest.

There are four kinds of edit:

  • Casting Swap: someone new in the role.
  • Extended Scene: more of a moment, or a new one.
  • Visual FX: better effects on existing shots.
  • Major Rewrite: a re-cut story.

The guides below show how we make them with free ComfyUI workflows, on your own GPU or a rented one.

What do you want to change?

Not sure? The three questions below pick one. A recast and a new effect in one shot is two passes: rebuild the shot first, then swap the person.

Which kind of edit is it?

Three questions decide it. The answers change the workflow, what the reference pictures must show, and how the sound is handled.

1. Is there an existing shot you’re changing?

No if the footage is new: a moment, a cutaway or a scene the episode doesn’t have.

Answer the questions above to see which guide fits.

Before you start

Every recipe runs in ComfyUI with the MiniMax H3 video models. Set up ComfyUI once: install it, download the models and pick the workflow size your GPU fits. The default downloads run on a 16 GB GPU with 32 GB of system RAM and a pagefile of about 32 GB or more. Higher-quality versions need a 48 GB GPU or a rented cloud GPU. Use ComfyUI v0.39.0, the release our latest test ran (version).

Put it in the episode

  • Where you work: install the extension’s Creator edition (the Chrome Web Store edition has no Creator tools), switch it to Creator mode (toolbar menu → Settings → Creator → Creator mode), choose Creator tools in the toolbar menu, and mark where each scene starts and resumes under Mark a scene. Then choose Open in website builder to import the scenes and attach your clips. Or prepare everything yourself and use manual submission.
  • What each clip is: a character swap replaces its span (the clip plays instead of those seconds, with its own sound); an added scene inserts (the clip plays, then the episode carries on from the same frame).
  • Clip format: MP4 (H.264 + AAC), 5 to 120 seconds each, up to 250 MB. (Shorter clips, from 1.5 s, play only as local packs made outside the builder.) The workflows already save MP4.
  • Submitting: a technical check, then one approval, then it’s in the catalog. To fix timing later, use Edit next version.
  • Made it outside the builder? Zip edit.json and your clips as an edit pack, then choose My edits → Import an edit pack: it fills everything in for one-click submission.
